- Links open well-known sites such as EarthMeta, Grokipedia, X and Google Maps, in a new tab.
Who runs this site
ifestiogate.com is a personal, independent project created and run by Ninoki from Slovakia, out of curiosity for places, the night sky and finds from the ground. It is not an official EarthMeta site. Contact: Ninoki111@proton.me.
What this site collects
This site has no user accounts, no contact form and no analytics of its own. If you write by e-mail, your message and address are used only to reply to you.
Like every website, the hosting server may log technical data (IP address, browser, time of visit) for security and operation. The site is hosted by Websupport s.r.o. (Slovakia, EU); such logs are kept by the hosting provider under its own rules and deleted after a limited time.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site load content from other providers. When that happens, your browser connects to them directly and they receive your IP address:
- Mapbox (interactive globe map on the home page) – Mapbox privacy policy.
- Google Hosted Libraries (3D model viewer on the Fossils page and for "View in 3D" on the home page, loaded from ajax.googleapis.com and www.gstatic.com) – Google privacy policy.
- Stellarium Web (the "Night sky here" window on the map, loaded from stellarium-web.org only when you open it). That site may set its own cookies and use analytics, and shows its own consent banner – Stellarium Web (see its About box).
- The Space Devs Launch Library API (the "Next Starship launch" card on the Night Sky page, loaded from ll.thespacedevs.com). It only returns launch data and sets no cookies – The Space Devs privacy.
- EarthMeta API (the "My lands on EarthMeta" section on the home page). Public land data (names, cities, links) is loaded from api.v1.earthmeta.ai and land images from EarthMeta's image hosts (cdn-v0.earthmeta.ai, img.earthmeta.ai). 3D models (.glb files) on my lands load from cdn-v0.earthmeta.ai only when you press "View in 3D", and are shown with the Google model viewer. No account, key or wallet is used, and the site sends no data about you – earthmeta.ai.
Links to other sites (earthmeta.ai, Grokipedia, Google Maps, Grok) follow those sites' own privacy rules.
Cookies
This site itself does not set cookies, and no cookies are set when you visit it.
The interactive map on the home page (Mapbox) stores two small entries in your browser's local storage: a random identifier and the time of its last usage report. Mapbox uses them to count map loads and sends usage events to events.mapbox.com. The map also keeps downloaded map tiles in your browser cache so it loads faster next time. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the site data for ifestiogate.com in your browser settings. Other pages do not use the map.
The home page keeps the public EarthMeta land list, counts and 3D model links in your browser's session storage until you close the tab, so EarthMeta is not asked again on every page view. It contains only public land information, nothing about you.
The Night Sky page keeps the latest Starship launch data in your browser's local storage for about an hour, so the launch API is not asked again on every visit. It contains only public launch information, nothing about you.
Memory Chain. If you send a memory for the Memory Chain page, I use your e-mail only to reply. The memory, the pseudonym and the photo are published only with your consent given in the e-mail, and you can ask me to change or remove them at any time. Please send photos without faces. Memories are never sold or traded.
Your rights
Under the EU GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and you can complain to a data protection authority (in Slovakia: the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, dataprotection.gov.sk). Write to Ninoki111@proton.me.
